Day One - Bye-bye Diet Coke!

My trainer said that people lose weight faster if they give up diet drinks and concentrate on water and unsweetened tea. I was pretty good with this in LBD Round Two, but I'm back on my Diet Coke kick. But as of today - no more! At work I have a big pitcher of water with slices of lemon and cucumber, mint leaves and grated ginger. Everyone is jealous!

What if you're on vacation and it's a weigh-in Tuesday?
Does anyone have a different suggestion?

It's the weekend!
For Round Two, I followed the Flat Belly Diet pretty much to the letter. And I kind of got used to eating accordingly - smaller portions, 3 meals and one snack, and a "good fat" with each meal (meaning: olive oil, olives, dark chocolate, nuts, or avocados). OK, now I've saved you from buying the yellow books. Anyway, no, I don't even want to be bad and eat lots of stuff. I am planning to drink wine tonight at a potluck dinner, so I'll adjust my calories accordingly. And I'll workout longer tomorrow.
What about you? Are you doing anything to prepare before this challenge starts?

Psyched
Watch out ladies - - I'm in this to win this! :>)
Welcome to LBD3!!!
Hello ladies!
Are you ready for this? Round Three of our Little Black Dress Challenge begins on Tuesday 28 July. I will facilitate this round and want to provide details in advance of our first weigh-in.
Entry fee is $25.
At week 12, there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners who have lost the largest percentages of body weight:
- 1st place = 60% of pool
- 2nd place = 25% of pool
- 3rd place = 15% of pool
We will report only our WEEKLY percentage of weight loss (not the number of pounds lost), except for the last week when we will report the cumulative percentage. Attached is the updated spreadsheet for your personal use. Each Tuesday you can send me your percentage and I will post results to a blog (currently under construction – more to come!).
Please find a scale on 28 July and weigh yourself. Put that number in the red box of the spreadsheet. Then each of the following Tuesdays (beginning 4 Aug.) return to the same scale, at the same time of day, and weigh yourself again. Put that number in the pink boxes and the spreadsheet should take care of the rest. Use only whole numbers, not decimals.
If you are participating in Round Three, please send your entry fee to me at the address I sent via email.
